December 27th, 2002 was the unforgettable date; San Diego, California was the place Cupid struck. Mutual friends introduced us to each other; but we didn't need introduction, our souls had already met long ago. "You'll just know when they're the one" is what our parents used to tell us. We shrugged it off as if they've never experienced it; as if they had no idea what they were talking about. But it all made sense the first time we laid eyes on each other. It was more than love at first site; it was completion to both our lives. It seemed as if we had so much to catch up on when we talked. We needed to fill each other in on all the previous years we missed out on and plan for the future's eternal years together. Love replaced our food and sleep for many months. Through the distance and all the temptations, we let nothing stand in our way. Finding exactly what we've looked for all of our lives was not easy to find, and we both knew that. With our faith in Allah and each other, we got through it all. And now, on April 4, 2004 we will celebrate our everlasting love.
